Team Alivmedica Newport Stop Over Coordinator

Team Alivimedia as part of the 2014-2015 Volvo Ocean Race wanted to make Newport a hometown event or a homecoming of sorts because even though it was a Turkish company, many of the sailors including skipper, Charlie Enright, were from Rhode Island. Therefore, I was asked a few months prior to the event to step in as the Newport Stopover Coordinator to help start that hometown movement. I designed merchandise and organized events for the public to support the hometown team.

The role pulled upon the same responsibilities of my Oracle Team USA and it was ever changing. There was a need to wear many hats and by the Stopover was in May 2015 , the role had adjusted as the goals of the team changed. However, it was an amazing event from Arrival to Start again.
