I love Canva for graphic design. This powerful yet simple FREE web tool and app allows users to create beautiful visuals with drag-and-drop ease. However, I am fascinated with the idea of bringing design to the masses, allowing everyone to be an artist. In a world where we process nearly everything visually, in order to be an effective communicator, language is not enough and developing visual literacy is important for everyone. I feel like Canva can be a solution for everyone from educators to introduce design in the classroom to small businesses or organizations to communicate their ideas to their customers/ audience.

I was thrilled to co-present with Greg Kulowiec, at the EdTechTeacher iPad Summit, about the power of Canva and also meet Guy Kawasaki, former chief evangelist of Apple and current Chief Evangelist for Canva.  IMG_1299
