In honor of Computer Science Education Week, I have been traveling around to volunteer at local Rhode Island schools to show students and teachers how they can get started with coding without even touching devices! I feel it is important to understand and develop logic skills before introducing a programming language to new learners. Unplugged coding activities allow for students to start honing those logic skills without the hurdle of getting functional technology into the hands of the students.
