Over the last few weeks, I have been working with Team Alvimedica as the Newport Stopover Coordinator to help get the hometown ready for the boys return. I know Newport is excited to host the Volvo Ocean Race as we truly have one of the best sailing venues in the world. Now its time to roll out the red (or should we say Orange!) carpet.
I have partnered with Brian Kelley from 20Eight2, another local small business to create 18 x 24 inch commemorative Newport Stopover-Team Alvimedica Flag to sell for our local fans and boats who want to show off their orange! Proceeds from the flags will go to the Jr Sailing Programs of the Narragansett Bay. So order your flag today to support both Alvimedica and local Junior Sailing!
Pre Order your flag by April 28th for $60 for pick up at 20Eight2 located above the Pellum on 270 Thames St.
Flags purchased after April 28th are subject to availability and will be $75.
